Description
BBmilk DG is a food for special medical purposes, specifically indicated for feeding infants with minor gastrointestinal problems such as colic, abdominal distension and constipation, which may occur in the first months of life.
The formulation of BBmilk DG in fact contains hydrolysed whey proteins, beta-palmitate, fermented milk, DHA, ARA, galactooligosaccharides, 2’ – Fucosyllactose and has a reduced lactose content. BBmilk DG also contains nucleotides.
BBmilk DG is suitable for feeding infants from birth up to the 12th month of life.
Important warnings
Breast milk is the ideal food for the infant and should be favored and used for as long as possible. When it is missing or not sufficient, formulated milk can be used after consulting the pediatrician.
Ingredients
Semi-skimmed milk with reduced lactose content , vegetable oils (sunflower, palm, palm kernel, soy, rapeseed), starch, demineralised whey powder, galacto-oligosaccharides from milk , lactose from milk , maltodextrins, fermented skimmed milk powder , hydrolysed proteins whey protein concentrate , whey proteinconcentrate, mineral salts (tripotassium citrate, calcium hydrogen phosphate, potassium chloride, trisodium citrate, calcium carbonate, magnesium chloride, ferrous lactate, zinc sulphate, potassium iodide, sodium selenite, copper sulphate, sulphate of manganese), oil derived from the microalga Schizochytrium sp . (contains DHA), 2’-fucosyllactose, vitamins (vitamin C, vitamin E, vitamin D, pantothenic acid, vitamin A, niacin, biotin, vitamin B12, vitamin K, folic acid, thiamin, riboflavin, vitamin B6), oil extract from Mortierella alpina (contains AA), choline bitartrate, inositol, taurine, emulsifier: soy lecithin, nucleotides (cytidine-5’-monophosphate, uridine-5’- monophosphate, adenosine-5’-monophosphate, inosine-5’-monophosphate, guanosine-5’-monophosphate), L-carnitine.

Preparation of the bottle
• Before preparation, wash and dry your hands thoroughly and sterilize the bottle, teat and ring
• Boil the necessary amount of water and pour it into the bottle or sippy cup at a temperature of 70°C
• Fill the measuring cup with level and unpressed product
• Add the prescribed number of level measuring spoons of powder to the bottle or sippy cup
• Close the bottle or sippy cup and shake to dissolve the powder
• Before giving it to the baby, check the temperature on the back of the hand; the temperature of the milk must not exceed
37°C
• After use, wash and dry the measuring cup carefully
Important warnings
• Inadequate preparation and storage may cause discomfort or risk to the infant’s health. Follow the instructions

• It is recommended to prepare milk only at meal time and consume it within two hours
• Do not heat or boil the milk once prepared
• Do not reuse any leftover milk after the meal
• Only use the measuring cup contained in the package

However, the quantities are indicative and may vary according to the pediatrician’s opinion depending on the child’s age and appetite. A level measure of BBmilk DG corresponds to 4.5 g equal to 22,5 kcal.
Storage Method
The product is packaged in a protective atmosphere. Once opened, the package must be properly closed and stored in a dry place away from heat sources (not in the refrigerator). The product must be consumed within 3 weeks of opening.
Nutritional Table
The reconstitution of BBmilk DG is 13.5% and is obtained by adding a level measuring spoon of powder for every 30 ml of water.

BBmilk AR is recommended for babies from birth to 12 months, where breastfeeding is not possible or not sufficient.
